What We Do
The Hawai‘i Tourism Authority is the state agency charged with managing tourism for the benefit of the Hawaiian Islands.
Our purpose is always focused on supporting the tourism industry’s diversity of benefits to residents and addressing its impacts in communities statewide.
- Our responsibilities are complex, our expertise is broad, our marketing reach is global, our commitment to strengthening communities is a constant, and our support of Hawai‘i’s people is never-ending.
- We annually provide funding to dozens of nonprofit programs to perpetuate Hawaiian culture, protect natural resources and preserve cherished community traditions.
